Nuestra Muy Respetable Gran Logia del Estado “Andrés Quintana Roo”, es una potencia Masónica regular de origen, fundada el 26 de abril de 1980 por la Gran Logia Unida “La Oriental Peninsular de Yucatán al crearse el Estado Libre y Soberano de Quintana Roo y ceder, nuestra Gran Logia Madre, el territorio a las 3 Logias Constituyentes “Andrés Quintana Roo” (Chetumal), “Obreros del Porvenir” (Cozumel) y “Benito Juárez” (Cancún).
The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of the State “Andrés Quintana Roo” is a regular from origin Masonic Grand Lodge, founded on April 26, 1980 by the United Grand Lodge «La Oriental Peninsular» of Yucatán in the creation of the Free and Sovereign State of Quintana Roo and give up, our Grand Mother Lodge, the territory to the 3 Constituent Lodges «Andrés Quintana Roo» (Chetumal), «Obreros del Porvenir» (Cozumel) and «Benito Juárez» (Cancun).
La Muy Respetable Gran Logia del Estado “Andrés Quintana Roo” es miembro activo de la Confederación de Grandes Logias Regulares de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos y de la Confederación Masónica Interamericana.
The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of the State “Andrés Quintana Roo” is active member of the Confederation of Regular Grand Lodges of the Mexican united States and the Masonic Interamerican Confederation (CMI)
Además de lo anterior, nuestra Muy Respetable Gran Logia del Estado “Andrés Quintana Roo” adopta y se sujeta a los 8 principios de reconocimiento internacional decretados por la Gran Logia Unida de Inglaterra de 1929 y sus reformas de 1989, mismos que tanto en nuestras disposiciones legales (Constitución) como en nuestros usos ritualísticos integramos en de la siguiente manera:
In adittion of the above, our Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of the State “Andrés Quintana Roo” adopts and the 8 principles of international recognition decreed by the United Grand Lodge of England of 1929 and its reforms of 1989, that in our legal provisions (Constitution) as well as in our ritualistic uses we integrate in the following way:
1.- La creencia en un Ser Supremo; The belive in a Supreme Lord
2.- La exclusividad de jurisdicción en un solo territorio, para nuestro caso el Estado Libre y Soberano de Quintana Roo; The exclusivity of jurisdiction in a single territory, for our case the Free and Sovereign State of Quintana Roo.
3.- Los juramentos ante el Ara y el uso en nuestros rituales del volumen de la Ley Sagrada (Biblia), la Escuadra y El Compás; The oaths in the Altar and the use in our rituals of the volume of the Sacred Law (Bible), the Square and the Compass;
4.- La sujeción irrenunciable a los Antiguos Landmarks; The irreplaceable subjection to the Ancient Landmarks;
5.- La prohibición de toda discusión política o religiosa en nuestros rituales; The prohibition of any politics or religious discussion in our rituals;
6.- La exclusividad para varones; The exclusivelity for mans;
7.- La adopción de la leyenda del 3er. Grado de Hiram y; The adoption of the Hiram´s third degree legend;
8.- La práctica de Ritos Regulares y Universalmente Aceptados. The practice of Regular and Universal Accepted Rites.
